Go Rays!

Here are some pictures from Jack’s first season of t-ball.  He played for the Rays – with a great group of kids.

Started the season trying to figure out whether to bat right or left handed.  Quickly discovered that he really does do better as a lefty.

010014032Playing first base made me a bit nervous because it required paying attention.  It sure is a good thing that the kids this age don’t have very good aim, or else Jack would have suffered at least one traumatic head injury.042T-ball is full of entertainment.  Here is Jack with his classmate & teammate doing some sort of dance routine in the middle of the game.050007

tball 004tball 011tball 017edittball 026 game ballFinally got the game ball!  It’s so funny how something so small can mean so much in the eyes of a 5 year old.  In about 2.5 seconds, he went from wondering if he would ever get the game ball to thinking he was the best kid to ever play the game.
