A week ago, we took the boys down to LA for some beach fun and also for their first Disneyland trip. Here are some pictures of them playing at the beach. I think Ben would be happy playing in the sand all day long. An Jack loved running from the waves. These photos were taken on Father’s Day, just after we had brunch with our friends, Scott, Elisa and Charlotte. Scott made reservations for all of us at an amazing restaurant that overlooked the ocean. It was so beautiful!

T-ball Superstar
Jack played T-ball again this year on the same Ray's team. Well, the same coaches and 4 returning players. It was great to see the growth and understanding of the game that happened throughout the season. Jack was SUPER into playing baseball, which Wayne and I were so happy to see. He was so funny to watch. He was the kid that was out in the field tackling his own teammate to get the ball away and get the out. Then there was 2 or 3 times that he fielded the ball and then ROLLED the ball to the first baseman because he didn’t trust that the person could catch the ball. Pretty smart kid!
<—Ben liked to entertain himself during the games by collecting rocks and then drop them through the chain link fence. He would also bark orders for me to count each rock as he dropped it.
And here’s Jack with his second game ball of the season. He was so proud of himself, and we were so proud of him. Mostly, we were just happy that he enjoyed it so much. We are looking forward to next year!
Two New Nieces to Love
Not one, but TWO! Within about two weeks of each other! The baby fest began in April. I’ve been a bit of a blog slacker lately. Better late than never, right?
First came Gianna (Matt and Jessica’s daughter).
Then came Antonia (Jimmy & Jennifer’s daughter)…..
I love these sweet baby girls to pieces and I can’t wait until I can snuggle them again.
