Although we haven’t had much snow so far, this weekend it is beginning to at least FEEL a lot like Christmas around here!
Ben likes to play with his toys (and food, too). I need to capture it on video because he carries on the funniest conversations with the things he plays with. His voice becomes very animated, too. My favorite is when one of his toys (or pieces of food – or broken gingerbread tree, in this instance) is the son and the other is the mother or father. He says things like, “Come on son, it’s time for bed. Let’s go to bed, son. I’ll read you a book and snuggle with you.”
Done with the crafty stuff and had to get in a little wrestling.
This picture cracks me up because Ben looks so proud of the gingerbread house. He really only participated in decorating for 3 minutes tops. The rest of his time was dedicated to eating the candy and then crawling around underneath the table pretending to be a dog.
You see, Jack was very creative this year and put a doggie door on the front door. That is what prompted Benjamin to crawl around on the floor and pretend to be a dog. Jack also put a chimney on his house this year. I only helped with the icing.
I just love this time of year and the magic that I see in the eyes of my children! It doesn’t get much better than this!!
